Natalie is a conscientious, creative and ambitious journalist with extensive print and digital experience.
Natalie, whose qualifications include a BA in English Literature, has worked as a writer/journalist for the past 17 years, initially in the B2B sector, followed by 13 years as a Features Writer and Entertainment Editor at The Bristol Post.
During her career, Natalie has generated meticulously researched, engaging copy covering a wide range of sectors, including business, local news, shopping and entertainment.
Her extensive experience, people skills and excellent reputation has secured her much sought after (and often very rare) interviews with high-profile figures including Sir David Frost, Dame Barbara Windsor, Brian May, Jeremy Irons, Matt Lucas, Ricky Gervais, Sir Ian McKellen and Debbie Reynolds.
Natalie has also written ‘days out with the family’ features, articles covering shop openings, profiles of local, independent stores, reviews of shows, spas and family attractions and travel features about everywhere from Cornwall to Kos. You can find examples on the ‘Our Work‘ page.
Sarah was the PR & Press Officer at The Bristol Hippodrome theatre, a flagship venue within the Ambassador Theatre Group (ATG) portfolio. ATG is the world’s number one live-theatre company with more than 40 venues in Britain, the United States and Australia.
Sarah created and developed the PR and Press department at the venue forming a wide and lasting network of relations with all forms of media contacts. Through these strong relationships with the BBC, ITV, Trinity Mirror and other broadcast, print and digital media, Sarah was able to generate £1m of free media coverage a year for the theatre and the many visiting production companies.
With excellent public relations experience spanning over 24 years, Sarah has worked strategically alongside such prestigious companies as Disney, Cameron Mackintosh Ltd, Welsh National Opera, English National Ballet, The Really Useful Theatre Group and The National Theatre. She has worked with many artists including Dame Barbara Windsor, Anthony Newley, Paul Nicholas, Jayne Torvill & Christopher Dean, Maxwell Caulfield, Warwick Davis, Gary Wilmot and Robin Cousins to name but a few.
Over the years Sarah has been the driving force between links with the theatre and local charities. Whether organising photo-calls with representatives of charitable organisations and visiting artists or arranging fundraising collections, Sarah has proactively sought to assist in raising their profiles, something she feels passionately about.
Whether researching, writing and distributing press releases, collating and analysing media coverage, devising and co-ordinating PR opportunities, generating and managing content across all media platforms including social media, Sarah’s meticulous attention to detail, exceptional communication skills and creativity together with a drive to go above and beyond resulted in her becoming one of the most trusted and high regarded PR Officers on the theatrical touring circuit.
